Rawthentic® was created from a desire to feed animals the real food that they need and want. Rawthentic® is a unique formulation of meat, ground bone, vegetables, and a small amount of quinoa (prepared in a proprietary way to mimic digestion).

Rawthentic® is a blend of science, experience and intuition. Rawthentic® was formulated with the help of animal nutritionists and animal communicators. Much time was devoted to feeding and interviewing panels of animals to find out what they want in their food. Repeatedly, cats and dogs have responded that they want real and simple food. A little unusual – a little far-fetched for some, a little cool for others - but an amazing journey producing real food that animals love.

Rawthentic® is labeled for “intermittent and supplemental feeding only” because the food is slightly below the AAFCO standards in Vit E and Vit D. Rawthentic has researched this topic and based on so many differing opinions, chose NOT to add synthetic supplements. There are few documented cases of vitamin deficiency in animals. However, studies on synthetic vitamins show mixed results in terms of their impact on animals. The reality of food is that there are nutritional holes. No one food can fill all the holes. We believe raw diets come closer than anything else on the market due to minimally processed ingredients. And our dogs give this food four paws up!
